To supplement or not

The supplement industry is a booming one, as people buy the hope of living a life that is not only longer, but also maintains quality of health.  I have seen people with cupboards full on supplements that they take on a daily basis.  I do believe supplements have a place to do exactly what their name implies supplement healthy food choices.  Taking supplements to compensate for a poor diet is not good advice.  Economically speaking you can get more nutritional bang for your buck in purchasing high quality nutritious food.  Three supplements we believe we all gain benefit from are good quality fish oils, a green supplement (chlorella, spirulina etc.) and an anti-oxidant. Nothing beyond that, unless you have a specific health condition/disease.
