And I’ll Bet The Sweeps On That!

It is said that the forbidden fruit Eve stole from the Garden of Eden was actually a pomegranate. It’s no wonder as the pomegranates arils (inner seeds) are like amazing little crimson jewels. Packed full of vitamin C, potassium and fiber, pomegranates are knows for their stellar anti-oxidant capacity. They contain three anti-oxidant compounds – anthocyanins, ellagic acid and tannins. Like any powerful super fruit, they are best when eaten whole.

1. Use the whole seed to top salads, soups or mix into a dip.

2. Use the fresh juice, add to a smoothie, in marinades or drink it straight up.

3. Eat the little seeds straight up as a snack!
