A Bit Of Dr. Sneezles’ Philosophy
Chapter One Of Nine
Dr. Sneezles recognizes that positive effects of humor (or “humour” if you prefer the British/Canadian spelling) have been recognized since Biblical times, as reference in Proverbs 17:22: “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”
He exists to bring a bit of compassionate humor to everyone. While the target audience is usually people in a medical situation, any venue is a good one for the Dr. His mantra: Humor is used to lighten the situation, bring a different perspective of the situation, decrease stress and tension; but never, never use the patient as the target of the humor.
Not all people will find the humor in a given situation, so compassionate is the byword.
Remember, Laughter is the best medicine…unless you’re really hurt, then you should call 911.
