Bullying and Your School

Chapter Seven Of Eight

If your child comes home and tells you he/she is being bullied, what do you do?  The first thing is to listen and jot down some notes; where did it happen, what happened and get the bully’s name.

Secondly, call your child’s school immediately and report the incident.  Make sure the school believes you, that they are compassionate and they offer to help you.

Many parents call other parents or even the police, which normally is not the good answer.  Strive to allow the school to intervene and to resolve the issue before there is an injury.
