Strikes are 257% in 2 years

MarketWatch – The number of work strikes and the number of union members are going in opposite directions

There were 25 major work stoppages last year, up 25% from 20 stoppages in 2018 and up 257% from seven in 2017, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). While strikes appear to be on a relative upswing, labor union ranks keep dropping, BLS has noted. Organized labor membership fell to a record low last year, with 10.3% of all working Americans in a union.

Very interesting analysis at MarketWatch
